Terms of Sale & Returns
TERMS OF SALE
Our Terms of Sale have been carefully crafted to ensure a fair and enjoyable shopping and selling experience for both our Customers and Vendors. We place a strong emphasis on transparency and customer protection.
First and foremost, we advise our Customers to be diligent in inspecting item photos, descriptions, and details before making any purchase, and to reevaluate the items upon delivery or pickup. This precautionary measure is designed to prevent disappointment and unexpected surprises.
In cases where a Customer has doubts or questions regarding an item's condition, dimensions, quantity, or description, we encourage them to reach out to the item's Vendor. On the listing page of our Site, a "Ask the seller a question" feature allows Customers to connect with Vendors for clarification.
It's important to note that many of our offerings consist of vintage items with original patina and are deliberately preserved in their original condition. These items are not presented as new and are likely to exhibit signs of wear and tear. As such, the presence of these natural characteristics is not a valid reason for requesting a refund.
In the world of antique furniture, historical wormholes, foxed glass, and old repairs are considered common and are generally expected by both Customers and Vendors. Consequently, these factors are not deemed sufficient grounds for refund requests. We prioritize transparency and customer satisfaction within these guidelines.
RETURNS
We kindly request that you inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If your item is damaged during shipping, please notify us within 2 days of delivery and provide photographs of both the packaging and the damaged item. The shipping company bears the ultimate responsibility for reimbursing you for any shipping-related damage but we will manage this process on your behalf.
If a refund has been agreed, and we've received the returned item, we will process the refund.
